VET & SBAT
At LRCS, our dedicated Student Pathways Leader, Hannah Beelitz, works with local trade training partners, employers and families to ensure LRCS students are able to undertake a course that best suits their preferred future pathway.
Our Year 10-12 Students are able to understake a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course or a School Based Apprenticeship and Training (SBAT) otherwise known as a Flexible Industry Pathways (FIP).
Flexible Industry Pathways (FIP) are a new way of approaching the delivery of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in schools. Flexible Industry Pathways are designed to prepare students for the world of work as well as meeting industry and employer’s needs.
We work with a range of local employers and Trade Training Partners to ensure we can provide opportunities for our students in a range of Future Industry Pathways including:
Agriculture
