Extra CurriculaR Opportunities
At LRCS, we provide a range of extra curricula opportunities for our students including sport, music and performance.
SPORT OPPORTUNITIES
We have two sports houses at LRCS - Maroon and Navy.
Students are encouraged to wear their house colours at all House events and as these are also our school colours, our every day polo and our PE top are available in both colours.
We host a school Athletics and Swimming Carnival each year, where students represent their sports house.
From here, students are selected to represent LRCS in the River Mallee Athletics and Swimming Carnival.
If successful, Secondary students are then selected to represent River Mallee at School Sport SA Athletics and Swimming.
School Sport SA
SAPSASA and SSSSA Events fall under the School Sports SA banner.
Primary Students are also able to participate in a range of SAPSASA events throughout the year including netball, football, softball and cricket. There are trials to make it into a team throughout the year.
Secondary students are also able to participate in a range of SSSSA events throughout the year including netball, football and soccer.

MUSIC
We are able to offer an Instrumental music program that includes Instrumental lessons for all interested students, Beginner Band, Junior Band and Primary Choir.

PRODUCTION
At LRCS we offer a F-6 and 7-12 Production in alternating years.
